Kent Machines Longlands was formed in January 2022 as a result of Kent Demolition Company Ltd needing machines to use on demolition sites. As we were able to find a supplier who could deliver any volume of value for money excavators within a short time frame we decided to open a dealership for Mini Excavators and Telehandlers.
Longlands is an area of South East London overlapping the London Boroughs of Bexley, Bromley and Greenwich. It lies north west of Sidcup and south east of Eltham.
Some old maps and records have the name as two words “Long Lands”, and show it was in the Foots Cray/Sidcup parish in the Hundred of Ruxley.
